Chain it came with darken = aged?

The chain for this pendant looks old and tarnished. Maybe that's the look? It wasn't what I was expecting, but the pendant is pretty.

Our Atlas Necklace is made using 18K gold-plating which is a darker and more yellow gold. The pendant is definitely more 'vintage-inspired' and is meant to be a more bold look. It is waterproof so you certainly shouldn't be seeing any tarnishing. We would definitely recommend wearing it with some layers for a more dramatic style. Hope this helps!
